The Xiaomi Mi Smart Standing Fan 2 EU is a unique climate control solution that bridges the gap between traditional cooling and smart home automation.
Designed with a minimalist, all-white aesthetic, this fan is engineered to deliver a “natural breeze” experience rather than the harsh, turbulent airflow typical of standard AC fans.
It is a highly versatile device, featuring a modular pole design that allows it to transition between a floor-standing fan (100cm) and a desk fan (62.5cm) with a single click, making it suitable for both spacious living rooms and compact office desks.
Patented 7+5 Dual-Blade Technology
The core innovation of the Xiaomi Mi Smart Standing Fan 2 is its 7+5 wing-shaped dual-blade system.
Xiaomi’s design features an outer layer of seven blades and an inner layer of five. These layers rotate simultaneously at different speeds, causing the two airflows to collide and eliminate the concentrated “vortex” effect.
This process breaks the air into finer, softer segments, resulting in a three-dimensional “natural breeze” that is much gentler on the skin. This system generates a powerful maximum airflow of 20m³/min with a ventilation reach of up to 14 meters.
Whisper-Quiet DC Inverter Motor
Driven by a high-efficiency brushless DC copper-wire motor, the Mi Smart Standing Fan 2 operates with extreme stability and reduced friction compared to traditional aluminum-wire motors.
This allows for an exceptionally quiet experience, with noise levels as low as 30.2 dB(A) at its lowest setting—quieter than a whisper in a library.
This motor is also incredibly energy-efficient, with a rated power of only 15W. In “Natural Breeze” mode, the fan is so efficient that it can run for an entire summer (8 hours a day for 90 days) while consuming only about 1kWh of electricity.
Smart Precision & Wide-Angle Coverage
The “Smart” functionality is powered by the Mi Home/Xiaomi Home app, which offers far more granular control than physical buttons. While the unit itself has four speed presets, the app unlocks 100 precise speed levels, allowing you to find the exact airflow intensity you need.
Users can also customize the horizontal oscillation angle with five adjustable settings (30°, 60°, 90°, 120°, and 140°), ensuring full-room coverage. Additionally, it integrates seamlessly with Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa for hands-free voice control
